In the past groups would travel to London by coach, which would also provide a sightseeing tour whilst there.  Years of worsening traffic congestion has made this option less attractive as coaches spend an ever increasing amount of time stuck in traffic jams, usually in the less scenic outskirts of the city.  This leads to frustration, lost time in the city and late returns to hosts in the evening.

 

Train travel has therefore become a more popular, reliable and even cost-effective option, but what about that all important sightseeing tour?  You can only do so much on foot and the regular sightseeing buses can be prohibitively expensive for groups on a budget.

 

Alpha Bus is pleased to offer Guided City Sightseeing Tours exclusively designed for Language Schools in an iconic heritage London Routemaster bus.  Each tour will last approximately 1½ hours starting and finishing at an agreed location close to a major railway station of your choice.  We can offer three time slot options on Monday’s – Friday’s, Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons.
